Do I have to dress up?

No. Wear what you most feel comfortable wearing. You will notice a variety of dressing styles, from formal to jeans. All are welcome here.

Can I take Communion?

Yes. Everyone is welcome to share in the bread and the juice. Jesus excluded no one and neither will we If you want your child to receive Communion, he or she is most welcome to do so. We usually have Communion on the first Sunday of the month.

Can my kids stay with me in church?

Most certainly. We do have activity bags for them use during the service. If they would be more comfortable in the nursery (under three) or in the Sunday school room (3 to 12 years old), they are most welcome to walk down the main hall to your left as you are about to enter the sanctuary. They will able to hear Bible stories, do crafts, and talk to one another during their time there. The Nursery and the Sunday School meet at the same time as the 10 a. m. worship service. The nursery and Sunday School classroom are located across from the main bathrooms.

Are there classes for me?

Yes, We are a place that encourages questions and learning. On Tuesdays at noon, the pastor leads a discussion group on topics that include the Bible, social issues, intriguing movies, and how to live your faith in the world around you. He is always open to starting new classes. If you have a burning issue, please let him know.

What is worship like?

We have a mix of musical styles – from organ to small band. Our singing comes from the whole range of Christian music. You will have a chance to pray aloud and in silence. You will hear stories from the Bible and explore with the pastor what they might mean for us today. Most worship services last about an hour. Everything you need to follow the order of our worship will appear on the screen behind the pastor or will be announced. We try hard not to surprise people. Be sure to join us for conversation and refreshments in the Fellowship Hall.
